Happy 5 Month B-day Dakota!!

Well, I'm proud to say that Aaron and I have successfully kept our child alive for 5 whole months now! Man has that been a joyful yet stressful time! I no longer need to check him 3 or 4 times in the night! (It's down to about 2:) I'm not worrying about SIDS or Deafness or eye problems- kinda nice. Today is Dakotas 5 month Birthday and man has this kid grown this last month! He's in the 98th percentile for weight and height! He's wearing nine and even some 12 month clothes! He's in size 4 Diaper- what a cutie! Some of the things Dakota mastered this month are holding his bottle on his own, communicating very well with mommy when he is tired and when he is hungry- He even does something with his head to me to let me know he's done having me rock him he's ready to get in the crib! Dakota can sit up now and does the cutest little flip thing on the couch where he falls over to the side, rolls over then is up on his tummy! He has gone in th pool for the first time this month and loves it! He is so responsive an what a charmer!Especially with the girls! He has his own little way of moving around on his tummy. He pushes with his arms and pulls his body. He is running circles around that play gym we got him! His swing is a funny story- Dakota doesn't just sit in his swing any more- he makes it swing! Its like hes on a roller coaster or something! He pushes forward and back and has that thing swinging before we even turn it on! Well the list goes on with the things he can do now, were loving it but kinda wouldn't mind him slowing down a bit:) Photos to follow of him in his swing (Notice the toy things he has turned into handle bars:) The other photo of him and his daddy is cute. Couldn't quite catch it but he had his hand on his arm and was staring at Aaron forever! By the time I got the camera together he was sucking on is arm:) Which snt too new but still very cute! But that look was adorable!!
